I have a Hilda May Howlett in my tree, born in 1906 and I'm convinced that this is her in 1911 with father George and mother Hannah. George and Hannah married in 1900 (George had been married before). I know all about them, so please don't waste your time searching for me.

However, there are various trees on Ancestry who have her with different parents (Walter George and Mary Ellen) in 1911 and I can understand why - http://ift.tt/22qO110
On Walter George's service records though he has listed his children and it says verified by certificates and he has given her name as Hilda Emily born 12-11-1905 and I have found her birth and followed her through marriage, 1939 etc - http://ift.tt/22qO112
What I can't understand is, why/how would he get the name of his daughter mixed up in 1911 from Hilda Emily to Hilda May?
The deaths of these two woman in their married names both seem to fit too.
Do you agree that I am on the right track please?
