My great grandfather William Brown married Elizabeth Eccles but I cannot find any trace of it nor can I find details of their births.
Elizabeth was born between 1847 and 1850 in Manchester according to the census. In the 1901 census her name is listed as Mary E Brown but all her other details are the same.
William Brown was born 1848 and 1851 in Salford according to the census.
I know they had a child Sarah Alice Brown about 1866-1867 born in Manchester.
My grandfather John Brown was born in July 1869 born in Manchester.
I cannot find any children born to them before Sarah Alice and I could obtain her birth certificate but cannot see how it would help with the marriage search.
Any advice or help please.
