Help with word on old document

Hi!

I'm trying to decipher a word on an old marriage register from the Highlands of Scotland.
On 29 Jan 1805: John Macleod ??? to Ann Macdonald both at Knock.

The question is, what is ??? - please see image below.

I know what I'd like it to say, but am not sure that it does!
