I've just finished watching Jane Seymour's WDYTYA and wondered what others thought?
I still felt I was having a history lesson only this time covering WWII and whilst a sad story it didn't go back any further than two generations.
what is happening to this programme, should we lobby them and say that what we most look forward to are tales that stretch back a few centuries not a couple of decades!
where is the comment on research techniques, helpful suggestions, methodology, and all the areas us genealogist like to hear about.
despaeately disappointed hope it's going to improve but my gut feeling tells me it isn't somehow. I sometimes think 'celebrities ' (whatever that awful word covers) have had their day and I'm tired of seeing so many on our screens doing not a great deal other than keeping in the public eye!!
sorry is this being a tad cynical here? I'm sure there are hundreds of us 'Joe Soaps' out there who have far more interesting tales to tell!!
looking forward to hearing others comments!
