Hi,
I estimate I have spent half my genealogy life researching relatives called George Liddy, 3 generations of them(from Ireland). I have now stumbled upon a George Liddy who died in India in 1900. There is a carving on his headstone which looks remarkably similar to a shamrock(which may signify a link with Ireland). The gentleman in question has an entry on Find a Grave.
Any additional information relating to him would be much appreciated.
